Additionally, the goods-producing sector added 23 thousand jobs, with boosts in manufacturing (12 thousand), construction (6 thousand) and mining (5 thousand). "This month's numbers are consistent with the pace of job creation before the pandemic," said Nela Richardson, chief economist, ADP.
